Obituary for Clara Rzomp (McKeeton)
Clara McKeeton Rzomp, 91, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 7, 2017 at St. Mary's Home East. She was born in Marianna, PA on March 21, 1926 a daughter of the late Peter and Anna Boldaroff McKeeton.
Clara loved visiting with her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo, jigsaw puzzles, baking and cooking.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Rzomp, Sr.; two brothers, Fred "Red" McKeeton and Cedar McKeeton; and one daughter in law, Betty Rzomp.
Survivors include two sons, Harry J. "Pete" Rzomp, Jr. of Florence, NJ and Patrick Rzomp and his wife, Susan, of Erie; four grandchildren, Bill Rzomp (Edie), Matthew Rzomp (Taryn), Kimberly Patti (Scott), and Kristen Hansen (Keenan); five great grandchildren, Chloe and Peter Rzomp, and Sarah, Luke, and Anna Patti; her great grand dog, Rosa; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service there on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary's Home of Erie, 607 E. 26th St., Erie, 16504.
