Yolanda Kuhn Sceiford, 53, of Erie, died Saturday evening November 28, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness. A resident of Erie most of her life she was born in Erie on March 23, 1956 a daughter of the late James and Lois Mack Kuhn.

Yolanda was a 1974 graduate of McDowell High School and had worked at Plastek and Bush Industries for several years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a strong, loving woman who devoted herself to raising her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step mother, Donna Corbett Kuhn.

Survivors include her husband of 6 years, Donald Sceiford; two daughters, Katlynne Sceiford at home and Melissa Kump and her husband Phil of Erie; one son, Michael Crawford and his wife Connie of Erie; two sisters, Valerie Brunner and her husband Joseph of Erie and Jodi Eibl and her fiance Michael Lockwood of Fairview; two brothers, Daniel Kuhn and his wife Karen of Waterford and James Kuhn and his wife Pam of Elmira, NY; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road (corner of East Gore and Pine Ave.) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning officiated by Rev. Scott Maxwell. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
