Obituary for Brandi Gorniak (Bisbee)
Brandi Bisbee Gorniak, 35, formerly of Erie, passed away on Thursday February 24, 2022 in Florida surrounded by family following a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She is now at peace. She was born in Tacoma, Washington on December 7, 1986 a daughter of Kimberly Fogle Bisbee and the late Michael R. Bisbee.
Brandi worked as a dental assistant and went on to earn her bachelor's degree prior to her diagnosis. She loved traveling, exploring new places, and trying new things. She enjoyed woodworking, painting, drawing, and restoring furniture.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Irene Buterbaugh Tofel, and her paternal grandmother, Wanda Bisbee Landis (Jerry).
In addition to her mother survivors include her husband of four years, Chad Gorniak; three children, Elana and Elijah Ruiz and Max Gorniak; her siblings, Christina Al Shear, Chris Bisbee, Cassandra Bisbee, Destiny Bisbee, and Hunter Bisbee; her mother and father in law, Jean and Kirk Gorniak; her mother's longtime companion, Robert Filipowski; her beautiful Husky, Simba, who would comfort her during difficult times; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
