Obituary for Faith E. Crosby (Gray)
Faith E. Gray Crosby, 92, of Erie, left this life on Wednesday February 23, 2022. She was born in Wilmore, KY on May 4, 1929 a daughter of the late Rev. Noble C. Gray, Sr. and Verda Mae Kelly Gray.
Faith graduated from Edinboro College in 1951 and married Charles Crosby on June 14, 1952. She was an active member of Glenwood United Methodist Church teaching Sunday School, both children and adult classes. She held offices in many different women's groups.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Susan and Steven Heilman; her sister, Margaret Gilliland and her husband, Fritz; her brother, Noble C. Gray, Jr.; and her nephew, Fritz Gilliland, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Charles N. Crosby; three children, Debra Brumagin (Roger), Cheryl Heilman, and Dennis Crosby (Cyndy); grandchildren, Christine Bible (Adam) and Allyson Crosby; great grandchildren, Ava and Mason Heilman, Olivia, Carter, and Lillian Bible; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Sunday February 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services at Glenwood United Methodist Church on Monday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Glenwood United Methodist Church, 2931 Myrtle St, Erie, PA 16508.
