Drucile E. "Elsie"  Allen (Emhoff)
Drucile "Elsie" Emhoff Allen, 98, a resident of St. Mary's Home East, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 12, 2018. She was born in Big Run, PA on January 5, 1920 a daughter of the late John and Naomi Crossman Emhoff.

Elsie worked as an assembler with G.E. and enjoyed bowling. Spending time with her family was very important to her and being reunited with her mother, whom she adored, was something she looked forward to.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Emhoff and his wife, Rita, and Jack Emhoff and his wife, Martha; three sisters, Donna Postlethwait, Ella Penberthy and her husband, John, and Eileen Whitfield and her husband, George; her brother in law, JJ Smith; and her niece and caregiver, Jean Hollarn.

Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Smith of Punxsutawney and Donna Mroczkowski of Erie; one brother, Elvin Emhoff and his wife, Dolores, of Erie; many nieces and nephews, including her caregiver, Kay Kubacki and her husband, Mark, of Erie; and her excellent caregiver, Rose Ann Cirvillo of Erie.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services there at 4:00 p.m.. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Northwest PA, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, 16506.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Mary's Home, especially Mark and Peggy, for their loving care, guidance, and compassion given to Elsie.
