Naomi R.  Perley (Rose)
Naomi Ruth Perley, 101, of Girard, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter and great-grand-daughter at home, on Friday, December 1st, 2017. Naomi was born on April 24th, 1916 in Greene Township a daughter of Edward and Ethel Rose.

She graduated from Academy High School as Valedictorian! She worked at Elgin Laboratories in Waterford, Greene Township Elementary School and countless hours on her farm. She enjoyed being a home-maker and a farm owner. She was a very beloved and loving mother, Aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother. She was known for her homemade pies and she enjoyed helping her neighbors and being with family.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Frank Perley, her daughter Nancy Bender, her six brothers, two of her sisters, her granddaughter and her great, great granddaughter.

She is survived by her daughter Joan Kilbury, her sister Norma, her six grandchildren, her twelve great grandchildren and her seventeen great, great grand children.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504, on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 12 p.m. with Chaplain David Miles of Heartland Hospice Care officiating. Burial will follow in Waterford Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
