Marian Therese Guth Bronakowski, 84, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 30, 2017 at Elmwood Gardens. She was born in Venus, PA on April 9, 1933 a daughter of the late Edmund and Esther Leight Guth.

Marian graduated from Shippenville High School and worked at G.E., Mugg's Restaurant at the Traveler's Inn and in housekeeping at Sear's. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and cross-stitch. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Bronakowski; three sisters, Evelyn Bennett, Dorothy Striker, and Janet Chipley; and seven brothers, Vincent, Loren, Walter, Francis "Mike", Ralph, James, and Paul.

Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Dudas and her husband, George, of Girard, Linda Reader and her husband, Edward, of Manchester, TN, Mary Bronakowski of Erie, and Lisa Steele and her husband, David, of Erie; one son, Mark Bronakowski and his wife, Lori, of Belle Vernon, PA; six grandchildren, Cynthia, Stephanie, Ashley, Matthew, Gregory, and Laura; one great grandchild, Connor; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a Funeral Mass at All Saints Catholic Church on Monday at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.
