Obituary for Linda Fike (Dick)

Linda  Fike (Dick)
Linda Dick Fike, 57, of North East, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on November 7, 1959 a daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Manno Dick.

Linda worked as a nurse's aide at Forestview Skilled Nursing and was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for five years. She also participated in Stockings for the Homeless every Christmas.  She enjoyed bird watching but her purpose in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother and spending time with her family. 

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Billy W. Fike; two daughters, Carrie Fike of Pittsburgh and Michelle Bostaph and her husband, Lucas, of Lawrence Park; one son, Billy W. Fike, Jr. and his wife, Diana, of North East; two sisters, Lisa Neuner of Erie and Brenda Teed and her husband, Scott, of Florida; one brother, Tim Dick, of Erie; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
