Mary A. Nowak Arment, 60, of Wattsburg, passed away on Thursday March 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Erie on March 2, 1957 a daughter of Ethel Trohoski Nowak and the late Leonard Nowak.

Mary graduated from Villa Maria Academy and went on to graduate from Villa Maria College where she earned her bachelor's of science in Education. Mary taught in local schools for a number of years and enjoyed spending time outside in the woods and making jewelry. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Kevin Arment; one son Michael Arment of Erie; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Isabelle; two brothers, Mark Nowak (David) of Erie and Christopher Nowak (Heather) of North East; and two nieces, Alexandra and Zoe.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
