Obituary for Rose Jean Zagenczyk (Radziszewski)
Rose J. Radziszewski Zagenczyk, age 90, of Erie, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born in Erie, on November 28, 1925 the daughter of the late John and Rose Brzezicki Radziszewski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Zagenczyk; her two sisters, Irene Chimenti and Halina Radziszewski; her three brothers, Rev. Joseph Radziszewski, Frank Radziszewski, and Mickey Radziszewski.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Zagenczyk and his wife Linda, of Erie, Gerald Zagenczyk and his wife Wendy, of Suwanee, GA; three grandchildren, Tom Zagenczyk, of Greenville, SC, Jeff Zagenczyk and his wife Katie, of Pittsburgh, and Kristin Mayes and her husband Tim, of Pittsburgh; two great-grandchildren, Carina Zagenczyk and Lucas Mayes; and her sister, Evelyn Radziszewski, of Erie.
Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at St. James Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Funeral services are under the care of the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd, Erie, PA 16504. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. James Catholic Church - 2635 Buffalo Road, Erie, PA 16510.
