Paul A. "Elvis"  Novak
Paul A. Novak “Elvis”, age 72 of Erie, passed away on Sunday January 31, 2016 at Presque Isle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a brief illness. He was born in Heilwood, PA on November 15, 1943, a son of the late Frank and Manilla Greg Novak.
Paul worked as a laborer and retired from Local # 603 in 1996 after over forty years of service. He was an avid Elvis fan and collector, enjoyed nature, gardening and loved his dog Sarge.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra J. Malone Novak in 2011; sister, Dolores DeDioniseo and brother, Frank Novak.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Kevin) Reynolds of Erie; step-daughter, Michelle (Frank) Summers of Erie; stepson, Ken (Margie) MacNabb of Union City; two grandchildren, Josh and Alyssa Reynolds; two great-grandchildren, Charley Reynolds and Ashlynn Orlando; aunt Peg Hess of Erie; sister, Debra (Greg) McKay of Erie; three brothers, Ted (Carol) Novak of Georgia, Larry (Patty) Novak of North Carolina and Tony (Ellyn) Novak of Florida, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sarge.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, 16504 on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service there at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
