Brian J.  Okicki
Brian J. Okicki, 41, of Greene Twp., passed away Thursday October 8, 2015 at Corry Manor as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Cleveland, OH on August,10 , 1974 a son of the late Robert and Jacqueline "Jackie" Franke Okicki.
Brian was a 1992 graduate of Cathedral Prep and currently worked at GE as an assembler. He was part owner of B&K's Country Store in Greene Twp. and was a family man who loved to hunt and spend time camping. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Karen Strohmeyer Okicki; one daughter Miranda Okicki and her fiancé Dalton Warren; one son, Matthew Okicki; one brother, James Okicki; his mother and father in law, Paul & Shirley Strohmeyer; two brothers in law, Greg Strohmeyer and his wife Sharon and Randy Strohmeyer and his wife Darlene; his niece, Amber Kinney (Shaun) his nephew, Brandon Strohmeyer; and many friends who loved him dearly.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a prayer service there on Monday morning at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to First National Bank, 1424 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie, 16504, c/o the Brian J. Okicki Benefit Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
