Obituary for J. David Nedreski

J. David Nedreski, age 68 of Sumter, SC, previously of Erie, PA passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Erie on August 8, 1947 the son of the late John Thomas Nedreski and Dorothea Marie Nedreski.

A 1965 Graduate of East High School, he spent much of his life in Erie, PA before retiring to South Carolina with his wife and lifelong love, Florence Rose Nedreski.

As a 32 year career life insurance agent, he touched many lives through his expertise and passion for enriching the lives of others.

His passions were many and included the outdoors, fishing, military history, model building, fixing stuff, a love for critters, and any time he had a chance he would do any and all of the aforementioned with his wife, children and grandchildren.

J. David is survived by his beloved wife, Florence Tucholski Nedreski. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 11, 2016. One son, Michael John and his wife Amy of Erie and a daughter Victoria Slupski and her husband Tim of Beaufort, SC; a brother Donald Nedreski and sister Deborah Prenatt; 10 grandchildren, Ashley, Alexa, Michael, Jessie, Cody, Timmy, Nicholas, Alex, Matthew and Brady and one great-grandchild, Brooks.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504, on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service there at 11:00 a.m.
