Elizabeth R. “Betty” Mihalovic Victorski age 97 of Union City, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday March 19, 2015. She was born in Erie on November 21, 1917 a daughter of the late Steve and Caroline Krhla Mihalovic.
Betty retired from Welch Foods in 1981 where she worked as an assembler in the packing department. She had previously worked for Buffalo Molded Plastics in Erie. She was a longtime member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and was part of their quilting club.
In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley C. Victorski in 1962; one daughter, Betty Ann Soder; four sisters, Frances Wheeler, Mary Gallino, Annie Harnak and Lena Goughler and two brothers, Julius and Steve Mihalovic.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Mae Sayban; one son, David (Deb) Victorski both of Union City; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Josie Applebee and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, 16504 on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the prayer service at 11:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church 9367 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16509.
